DIY Family Law was established in 2007 by Catherine Doran, a lawyer and mediator with significant professional experience in family disputes. DIY Family Law is committed to helping people deal with their family disputes respectfully and in a way that keeps them in control of what is happening for them.

At DIY Family Law we offer both family law and family dispute resolution (mediation) services. Our family law service provides;

Legal assistance (to enable you to represent yourself in the Family Court)
Collaborative family law practice (helping you to work with your former partner and both of your lawyers together to work out the best settlement upon separation)

Our mediation service provides you with assistance from an accredited family dispute resolution practitioner to work with your former partner to create good arrangements for your children and/or your assets into the future.
